Due to the intensive use of webinars as a “new” communication channel in the world, CO2 emissions and waste generation are significantly reduced.
Namely, by using webinars as places of virtual conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings,… there is no need to travel to such an extent, and consequently, CO2 consumption is reduced because travelling by airplanes, cars and public transportation is no longer needed. Gas emissions are reduced for heating and cooling the congress space.
It also reduces the waste; food and drink, plates, glasses, napkins, plastics in any form that has remained so far after organized events.
