The whole industry has been through significant changes in the past year and a half, and the big changes are still to come. Unfortunately, some business event organizers had to close their businesses because it wasn’t possible to hold the events (round tables, summits, conferences, congresses etc.). On the other hand, we are seeing some new creative models and platforms for organizing business events, especially digital platforms – no matter if the event will be hybrid, in-person or virtual. These platforms and new business models provide a much more efficient organization, significantly higher number of participants, more satisfied audience and returning sponsors in the next period, better media coverage, larger analysis…

For the organizers today the most important thing is to clearly define the goals they wish to accomplish, to choose a platform and to setup an efficient organization process depending on the goals and specificity of the business event. The business event organizers are using external service providers for digital platforms in a larger segment to achieve technological and process optimization.

Platforms for business event organization provide public and private events organization service, fee payment or free participation, top streaming production, event analysis with a lot of useful data for the organizer and the sponsors, participant interactivity and it’s very important to mention that there are also solutions for virtual networking which was the biggest disadvantage of the virtual events until now.

We expect that from now on the business events will be organized in a hybrid form, under epidemiological measures, with a possibility that in any moment they can become only virtual – depending on the COVID situation development.

The business event industry is going through big changes, the market today has different habits and needs so interesting times are ahead for all of us.
